FAQs – Staying at Crow’s Hall

Staying at Crow’s Hall is a real treat. With a handful of guest rooms to welcome the bridal party in the Hall itself, you can stay comfortably on site whilst putting all the last minute preparations in place. Why not invite your wider sphere of friends and family to relax with you too, staying in the grounds? Crow’s Hall is a working farm and a home, with friendly dogs residing in the main house and the owner’s horses grazing the paddocks. We look forward welcoming you all.

In Crow’s Hall – Owner, Caroline Spurrier, is delighted to open up her stately home as a comfortable B&B for wedding couples and their guests – up to 6 people. There are 2 double guest bedrooms with a magnificent shared bathroom on the first floor accessed by the 16th century grand box staircase.

The bridal apartment on the second floor has wonderful views of the barn, moat and rolling countryside. It includes the spacious West Room (a double bedroom) and the Long Room which has twin beds, a dining area with kitchenette and a shared bathroom.

We regret that due to the historic nature of the property, we are not able to welcome children. Please note that well-behaved dogs are allowed in the bedrooms. The owner also has dogs at the property.

In the grounds of Crow’s Hall – Guest camping can be arranged in our paddocks and our popular glamping packages are available on request.

Yes, we allow dogs in the bedrooms. Friendly, well-behaved dogs are most welcome at Crow’s Hall. We’d ask you bring their food and bedding and to ensure that they abide by the ‘house rules’.

Animal friends including dogs and horses may be welcomed on site for the celebrations with prior agreement from the owner.

Please note that Crow’s Hall is on a working farm with horses in its paddocks and we also have our own friendly dogs at the Hall.

Crow’s Hall has a second floor bridal apartment, but some couples prefer the beautiful first floor bedroom with a fourposter and views of the knot garden, or Countess Daisy’s Bridal Room. These two rooms share an impressive bathroom.

No. We only share Crow’s Hall with guests in your wedding party. The use of our handful of charming guest rooms is included in the wedding package price. You may invite your friends or family to join you in staying in these unique and exclusive surroundings, although please note that all guest rooms are located on the first floor and, regrettably, we are not able to welcome children due to the historic nature of the property.

Yes. We do permit camping for guests. Please ask us for more details.

Yes. Glamping packages are available so that your guests can enjoy a comfortable stay on site. Access to the extensive glamping area is included in the hire fee. For more information, please contact us.

We have extensive equestrian facilities for our own horses and are pleased to offer comfortable stabling, plus use of paddocks and all our on-site equestrian facilities including our ménage and horse-walker. Parking up the horsebox is no problem and there is excellent off-road riding in the Deben valley countryside around the site.  Please give Caroline a call to discuss the possibilities»
