Choosing Crow’s Hall for your wedding is like borrowing a close friend’s stately home for a week, with access from booking right up to your week for planning, tastings, meeting suppliers and deliberations. When it comes to country house barn weddings in Suffolk, no other venue compares in terms of exclusivity. Take a look at our wedding blog to find out even more about our unique invitation»
At Crow’s Hall, you have the exclusive use of the venue including the extensive grounds, the beautiful gardens and Tudor barn for up to 7 days. This allows you and your suppliers time to set up, and for you to enjoy private parties and accommodation with our additional glamping packages.
Glamorous marquees, tipis, and glamping sites can take four days or more to put up and then there is the furnishing and decoration time. Prior to that, there are months of planning. It is for this reason that we only ever host a small number of weddings during the summer each year and rarely more than two in each month. At Crow’s Hall, we are with you all the way.
Timber-framed and truly awesome, the Crow’s Hall Tudor long barn really is unique. Not only is it purportedly the longest ‘long barn’ in Suffolk, but it is also absolutely authentic with superb acoustics – a rare find, offering ultimate flexibility for large or smaller scale wedding celebrations.
Few barn wedding venues provide such an opportunity for total control over décor and lighting design. Set up a stage and dancefloors, bars and cosy lounge corners, and there is still space for 180 -200 guests to dine in comfort!
Located just outside the moat, Crow’s Hall Tudor barn is close to the bridge, hall and gardens, only a short walk from the glamping paddocks and adjacent to areas well-suited to large marquees.
Imagine having your very own island full of elegant, yet beautifully informal garden rooms.
Choose to greet your guests just inside the Tudor gateway in the fragrant Courtyard Garden before they pour into the Pool Garden to drink in the rolling country views and colourful borders with a glass of bubbly. Or plan a walk down the green ‘allée’ aisle to meet your guests gathered in the beautiful moat-side garden amphitheatre for your wedding blessing.
From punting jetties to potagers, magnolias to neatly mown lawns, Crow’s Hall gardens are the perfect intimate backdrop for all scales of wedding celebrations, for your wedding photographs and simply making memories.
Would you like to invite some of your wedding guests to stay over? At Crow’s Hall, we have paddocks which can be dedicated to guest glamping and can provide lists of tried and tested local companies who can create superb little glamping villages, complete with deluxe showers and quality conveniences.
Our comfortable self-contained apartment within the Hall is made available to the bridal party for a number of nights as part of the wedding venue hire package.
Wedding couples may also choose to stay in our beautiful bridal suite. This together with a handful of guest rooms within Crow’s Hall may be available on request, subject to circumstances.

“The possibilities for a wedding at Crow’s Hall are endless – we make your dreams become reality.”Caroline Spurrier – Owner
Our garden amphitheatre is a popular choice for wedding blessings, Indian weddings or formal moments of family togetherness on the ‘island’.
Crow’s Hall has however opted not to have a wedding licence. This means that even though we have a Tudor-style knot garden, it is regrettably not possible to tie the knot here or hold a legal wedding ceremony involving an official registrar or celebrant.
The extensive grounds and Suffolk countryside location, together with our exclusive site hire and helipad offer make Crow’s Hall a highly attractive option for wedding couples.
Few places could be more perfect, if you are looking for somewhere discrete to celebrate in your very own, individual way and in complete seclusion.
Suffolk has an amazing crop of local suppliers from caterers to florists as well as unique artisans who can bring something extremely special and personal to your wedding celebrations.
Crow’s Hall is a farming estate and we love to support local and encourage others to do the same.
We can provide you with a list of recommended and trusted suppliers. However, we are open to your suggestions, should you wish to introduce us to an alternative supplier.
Any supplier providing goods or services at Crow’s Hall will need to have their required licensing in place and comply with any Health and Safety Regulations, Government COVID-19 guidelines and any Crow’s Hall COVID-19 site policy applicable at the time.
