At Crow’s Hall, our dogs and horses are family. If, like us, you would never dream of leaving them out of a major life experience unless you absolutely had to, then we’ll do our very best to help!
Well-behaved dogs are most welcome . Our Westies are friendly and curious and just love to make new canine acquaintances. Greyhound, Molly, can be a little more moody but is always good with visitors.
Equine facilities at Crow’s Hall are just splendid . We would love it if you brought your equine friend along for the ride. Let’s have a chat and we can go from there!

Can they stay with us at Crow’s Hall?
Yes – if you are part of the bridal party and staying in the Hall as part of our exclusive 7 day dry hire package, your canine friends are most welcome to join you.
Are dogs allowed in the bedrooms?
Yes, we allow well-behaved dogs in the bedrooms.
Please bring their bedding and we would ask for you to ensure that they abide by the ‘house rules’ – these are nothing out of the ordinary for a working farm with horses. We’ll be pleased to talk you through when you visit.
Do we need to supply their food?
It is our experience that all dogs have their own diets. For this reason, we would ask you to bring their food with you for the duration of the stay. Thank you.
I’d like to include my dog in the blessing and celebrations. Can you help?
We are very pleased to share our animal encounters and help you with your planning. Please do just give us a call.
The owner of Crow’s Hall, Caroline Spurrier, is an eminent horsewoman and special courses and events may be held at the Hall in the course of the year. We stable several horses here.
What equestrian facilities are on offer?
Our stabling is most comfortable. We have a number of paddocks – even if you will be using some for your wedding marquees ! – and these are located adjacent to the Hall. Our on-site equestrian facilities include a ménage and horse-walker.
Where can I ride?
Beyond the paddocks of Crow’s Hall lies the River Deben’s rolling Mid-Suffolk countryside – it is a wonderful area for riding out and one of the reasons we moved here. There is a network of bridleways and paths which we will be happy to introduce you to.
Is there somewhere to park the horse-box?
Of course – no problem!
I’d like to include my equine friend in the celebrations – do you have any advice or experience?
We’ve welcomed delightful childhood favourite of a pony who trotted round distributing small gifts to the wedding guests, as well as show horses who certainly looked the part. Let’s have a chat about your ideas and we are sure to come up with some great concepts together.
