THE HOUSE

CROW’S HALL

Crow’s Hall is first and foremost a private Suffolk home, offered for only a small number of weddings each year.

Behind the moat, the Hall, island gardens, Tudor Long Barn and wider 400-acre estate create a place to arrive, settle in, gather, prepare, celebrate, stay and wake slowly into the following morning.

For a few unhurried days, the story of Crow’s Hall becomes part of your own.

No two weddings have ever been the same.

Crow’s Hall does not impose a single version of a wedding.

Some celebrations stay close to the Hall and island gardens. Others gather pace in the Long Barn. Some spill into marquees and the wider estate, with guests staying nearby and the celebration continuing into the following morning.

There is no fixed route through the place and no formula to follow. The pleasure lies in finding the shape that feels entirely your own.

One estate.
Many ways to make it yours.

Crow’s Hall does not impose a single version of a wedding.

Some celebrations stay close to the house and island gardens. Others gather pace in the Long Barn. Some spread into marquees and the wider estate, with guests staying nearby and the celebration continuing into the following morning.

The pleasure is in finding the shape that feels right for you.

HOW YOUR WEDDING MIGHT UNFOLD

The great luxury is time

A wedding at Crow’s Hall does not need to begin and end in a single day.

There can be time to arrive properly, settle into the house, walk the gardens and gather the people closest to you. Time for the celebration to move naturally through the Hall, island gardens, Long Barn and estate.

Then there is the morning after: breakfast, stories, a walk around the gardens and no feeling that everything disappeared at midnight.

This is what we mean by weddings that take their time.

CEREMONIES & CELEBRATIONS

There is more than one way to make the ceremony part of a wedding at Crow’s Hall.

Some couples marry locally, including at nearby churches such as St Mary Magdalene in Debenham, before returning to Crow’s Hall for drinks, photographs, dinner and the wider celebration.

Others choose a register office, registered place of worship or legal ceremony elsewhere before gathering at the estate with family and friends.

For cultural and religious weddings, the Hall, island gardens, Long Barn and wider estate can support a broader rhythm of family gatherings, ceremony, food, music and celebration.

However the ceremony takes shape, the arrival, setting and celebration can still feel like one connected story. Caroline can talk you through the current possibilities when you enquire.

Freedom, with the right people around you.

Crow’s Hall is offered on a dry-hire basis. Here, that means freedom.

You can choose the caterer, florist, planner, musicians and creative team that feel right for your celebration. Or Caroline can introduce trusted people who already know Crow’s Hall and understand how the estate works.

Crow’s Hall does not charge supplier commissions. Recommendations are made because the people are trusted, capable and suited to the place.

Some couples arrive with almost everything planned. Others begin with little more than a feeling. Either way, Caroline and the experienced team around her can help you understand what is possible and bring the right people together.

STAY CLOSE.
STAY LONGER.

Some weddings change when people can stay.

Depending on the celebration you are planning, the Hall can become a private base for the people closest to you before and after the wedding.

For larger Estate Weddings, glamping can bring more guests into the landscape, creating the feeling of a temporary village around the Hall, gardens and Long Barn.

The evening relaxes.
The morning stretches.

The wedding becomes more than a single day.

Four ways to shape your wedding

No two weddings at Crow’s Hall have ever been the same. These four starting points simply show some of the different ways the Hall, gardens, Long Barn and wider estate can come together.

Wedding venue hire starts from £18,000 (incl VAT).

THESE ARE STARTING POINTS,
NOT PACKAGES

Every wedding is shaped individually, depending on the time, spaces and scale of celebration you have in mind.

As a dry-hire venue, catering, drinks, flowers, furniture, marquees, music, production, accommodation and other supplier costs are arranged separately unless specifically agreed.

Caroline can talk you through the different possibilities and help you understand what might work for you.

THE SIGNATURE
CELEBRATIONS

Large-scale or multi-day celebrations
The most expansive use of Crow’s Hall.

The feeling

LET’S TALK ABOUT
YOUR WEDDING

The best way to understand Crow’s Hall is to see it.

You do not need to have everything worked out. Tell Caroline roughly when you are thinking, how many people you might bring and what has caught your attention about the estate.

From there, you can walk through the spaces together, talk about what might be possible and begin to shape the celebration around you.

A private viewing is usually the best place to start.
